Peacock stable takes Trotters Cup in St Arnaud double

A victory in the  St Arnaud Sporting Club Trotters Cup with the talented Kiwi squaregaiter Irish Whisper was the second leg of a winning double for the Peacock Stable on Sunday afternoon.

Stable driver Damian Wilson piloted the winners with superb drives in consecutive races.

The first win was on the promising Four Enuff Tas (Four Starzz Shark) for one of the Peacock team's most enthusiastic owners, Pooba Govendar.

Wilson followed up with another well-timed drive, on Irish Whisper in the Trotters Cup, moving three-wide at the bell and scoring by three metres.

Irish Whisper is owned by Murray Notman and was having only its second start for the stable.
